I personally don’t like Electronica at California Adventure. It just doesn’t fit, even though TRON was a Disney film. But I can see why they would continue it. The construction of Buena Vista Street is going to render that area a big mess. So there has to be some sort of lure for park guests who would more than likely avoid the noisy, dusty construction zone.
Completely opposite effect here. My kids had a blast and I was immersed in my favorite Disney series coupled with 80′s nostalgia (complete with PERFECT arcade) and Daft Punk.
It TOTALLY fits the older vibe of DCA, fills in an area that normally is a graveyard at night.
Frankly, seeing ElecTRONica again is one of the reasons we chose to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary at Disneyland even after having gone last winter.
Haters – just don’t go in there, let those of us who love it enjoy it until it will be gone for Cars Land opening.
Besides, when ElecTRONica is on there is 0 wait time for Monsters, Inc. Perfect time to catch it with no delays – you should thank ElecTRONica for that.
